Nurture Teachers -Coulsdon

Due to student numbers, we are seeking qualified Nurture Teachers to work with our Nurture Group. This role involves teaching a small group of students with ASD/PMLD.

Requirements:

Experience of teaching pupils with Severe Learning Difficulties, teaching in a SEN environment.

Excellent teaching methods

High expectations of both self and students

Effective communication skills

Experience using Makaton, TEACCH and PECS, Intensive Interaction and Attention Autism. 

Passion and commitment to inclusive education

QTS/PGCE or equivalent with excellent knowledge of the curriculum.

Start date September 2024
