Kings’ School Al Barsha welcomes applications for an Outstanding Secondary PE Teacher to join our thriving school from January 2025. Working in Dubai is a fast-paced and rewarding experience, however, it is a demanding and rigorous working environment which requires committed and motivated professionals. As such we seek teachers who understand that their role extends far beyond the classroom.

Requirements and Experience:

Essential:

• Hold a Bachelor's Degree relevant to the teaching Subject or equivalent
• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent 
• Strong subject knowledge and sheer enthusiasm for the subject that you are ready to share with our students
• Experience of teaching GCSE and A Level
• A minimum of 3 years' experience, though new teachers who are aspiring to be outstanding will be considered
• Able to teach consistently inspirational lessons and a track record of delivering outstanding results
• Provide exciting and purposeful learning opportunities , where students achieve and make sustained progress, aligned to our ‘best by every child’ ethos
• Able and willing to make a broader contribution to school life
• Excellent organisation skills to oversee a main sport and assist, lead teams across numerous sports within our extensive competitive sport programme.
• Experience delivering swimming
• A highly collaborative nature and strong communication skills
• Evidence of commitment to recent professional development relevant to this role
• Ideas that will help to further the high profile of the department within the school
• ICT skills that reflect the impact of technology in today’s classrooms
• A commitment to the well-being and pastoral care of all students within their care
• Innovative, creative and positive mindset
• A commitment to the wellbeing and pastoral care of all students within their care

Desirable:

• Experience of working overseas or with international students
