Your opportunity

We are looking to appoint a highly skilled and flexible People/HR Administrator to work across four schools within Camberley (Pine Ridge Infant School, Lorraine Infant School, Cordwalles Junior School and Frogmore Junior School.

Led by a People Partner, the People/HR Administrator will work in collaboration with the school based teams and as part of the regional team to deliver an expert service to our schools.

Responsibilities include:

  • People administration duties across a range of People activities including data management and reporting, compliance, and general people administration
  • Recruitment and on-boarding administration, ensuring compliance with regulations and procedures, particularly regarding safer recruiting
  • The completion of monthly payroll submissions, adhering to tight deadlines
  • The maintenance of the Single Central Record, personnel files, and training records for your assigned schools
  • Acting as a first point of contact for people related queries, ensuring high levels of confidentiality.

Our ideal applicant will have

  • A good awareness and understanding of people administration, to ensure compliance with regulation and procedures
  • Good numerical skills with the confidence to produce and manage payroll and other management information data
  • Excellent written and communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal, including the ability to form rapport and build good working relationships with others
  • Flexible approach and the ability to work on their own initiative
  • A willingness to travel across the four schools

About the schools

Led by a Regional Primary Director, this cluster of schools consists of two infant schools and two junior schools: Pine Ridge Infant School, Lorraine Infant School, Cordwalles Junior School and Frogmore Junior School.

The Details

Start Date: ASAP or by 1st September 2024

FTE Salary: GLF Specialist £24,982

Pro-rata Salary: £15,307.59 (based on 25 hours, 40 weeks)

Hours of work: 25 hours per week, 40 weeks per year. Exact working patterns can be discussed at interview.
