An exciting opportunity has arisen for a well-qualified Physics specialist to play a key role in helping the school to achieve its vision of ensuring every child enjoys academic and social success. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of raising attainment both at a classroom and department level and also be an excellent A-Level teacher, who is able to support other colleagues.
Thanks to the exceptional attitudes of our students and dedication of their teachers, the study of science is thriving in all years at Highbury Fields School. Students consistently achieve excellent progress and results at GCSE and physics is one of our highest attaining subjects at A-level.
The appointed person will be an excellent teacher, who is highly ambitious for all students in the school. They will have successful experience of teaching A-level and GCSE and will be a reflective practitioner, who is committed to improving their own pedagogy. The appointed person will be a team player and willing to contribute to the school’s wider curricular programme.
