Due to the continued success of our GEMS Metropole School Al Waha, we are looking to recruit a Primary French/Spanish Teacher for September 2025.

Successful candidates will need to:

  • Embody and role model our core values of curiosity, confidence, creativity, respect and kindness
  • Hold a BEd or Bachelors degree with PGCE / PGDE or equivalent
  • Have proven experience of teaching primary level.
  • Have the ability to share exemplary teaching practices.
  • A creative and enthusiastic approach, both inside and outside the classroom.
  • Possess excellent interpersonal skills to work closely with colleagues, students and parents
  • Have a proven track record of providing outstanding learning & teaching
  • Have aspiration to work in a world-class school with real prospects for enhancing their career
  • Be willing to make a positive contribution to our school community and culture through active engagement in our extra-curricular programme and community-based events.

Skills

  • A B.Ed or subject related degree and PGCE / PGDE or equivalent
  • Proven qualified experience of teaching French/Spanish in a school environment
  • Exceptional subject knowledge
  • The ability to share your outstanding practice
  • Interested in career growth, leadership, sustainability
  • A creative and enthusiastic approach both in and out of the classroom
  • Excellent IT and interpersonal communication skills to work closely with students and parents
