Values and vision
St Mary Magdalene C of E School aims to teach pupils to treat others as they would expect to be treated. The pastoral structure of the school ensures that every student is known individually. Children are provided with opportunities to develop their mentoring and leadership skills. The school specialises in Religious Studies and collective worship is a key part of each school day. Teachers intend collective worship, which is led by senior leaders or the School Chaplain, to be a creative and responsive time that follows the Anglican calendar and also acknowledges the key dates of other faiths.

St Mary Magdalene All Through School was inspected by SIAMS in 2018 and was graded Outstanding in all areas. It was also inspected by Ofsted in 2023 and continues to be a Good school.
