The Governing Body of Lord Derby Academy are seeking to appoint to the position of:

Pupil Support Manager – Internal Exclusion (INTEX) LEAD

36 hours per week – Monday - Friday

Term time plus 5 INSET days

Salary - Grade H point 23 – 25, £32,076 - £33,945 per annum pro rata

Actual salary p/a £28,374 - £30,028

Post starts: As soon as possible

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a full time Pupil Support Manager to join our dedicated pastoral team at Lord Derby Academy. The Pupil Support Manager will provide a complementary service to leaders, teachers and pastoral staff in school, addressing the needs of children and their families to help them overcome barriers to learning in order to achieve their full potential. The post holder will work within a team, promoting optimum pupil performance and achievement by supporting pupil attendance, behaviour, safeguarding and learning. There will be a particular focus on the school’s internal exclusion room providing specific and targeted support for pupils repeatedly placed in INTEX, analysing patterns of pupils using this support in school.

We are highly committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of all pupils and we expect all our staff to share this commitment. Enhanced DBS vetting procedures are required for all posts.
