We offer an internationally adapted British National Curriculum from Early Years to Year 9, the IGCSE programme in Years 10/11 and the IB Diploma Programme in Years 12/13. Reception Class Teacher:
Our two Reception teachers work together to plan, create and lead outstanding learning opportunities for all students in their care in line with an enhanced version of the EYFS Curriculum and the EIM Engaging Learning Framework. Each Reception Teacher has full responsibility for the academic progress and pastoral care of one class of Reception children.
Three Teaching Assistants support the two Reception Classes, led and managed by the Head of EYFS, fully supported by the other Reception Teacher. Reception staff work with Nursery and Year 1 staff to develop the opportunities offered in the DUCKS Gardens for all learners’ use. Reception Classes typically have 18-20 students each from around the world.
Head of Early Years:
The Head of Early Years leads the day-to-day operations and the continuous development of the EYFS Department (1 Nursery class and 2 Reception Classes, with a total of 6 other staff). He/she teaches 65% timetable with their Reception Class. The HoEY is responsible for ensuring high standards of teaching and learning are in place across Nursery and Reception, that spaces are beautifully maintained, that communication with parents is smooth and detailed, and that all students’ needs are met. The HoEY is responsible for aspects of the written and taught curriculum in EYFS, assessment, resourcing and parent education workshops. There is a designated annual budget which the HoEY manages. The Head of Early Years works with other Year Leaders and Department Heads across the College to further develop our programmes, policies and procedures.
The Head of Early Years is a member of the Primary Leadership Team (also comprising the Head of Primary, Deputy Head Academic and Deputy Head Pastoral) and contributes to the development of the Primary School in this role. Head of Early Years also has responsibility for 16 Primary Teaching Assistants’ deployment, timetabling and professional development.

REQUIREMENTS:
The successful candidate must have:
- a degree in a related subject and an EYFS/Primary PGCE or equivalent
- at least 2 years’ relevant teaching experience
- EYFS or KS1 English National Curriculum experience

Dulwich College Seoul opened its innovatively designed building in September 2010 and boasts state-of-the-art educational facilities in the heart of one of Asia’s most dynamic cities. The co-curricular dimension of the College is exceptionally strong. Music, art and sport, in particular, are thriving, with regular sports fixtures, school concerts and productions.
