Sheridan School are recruiting for a Receptionist to join our school. We are looking for enthusiastic multitasker, who is highly skilled and proficient in the use of Microsoft office, excel & word. The successful candidate who be a solution focused member of the team and be able to prioritise competing deadlines in a professional manner.
The main duties of this role will be front of house reception duties such as answering the phone as a first point of contact for queries, dealing with visitors that attend the school as well as dealing with deliveries.

Sheridan School offers an integrated programme of education and therapy for young people with social, emotional and mental health difficulties, compounded by complex disorders including Autism. Age range for students is from year 4 to year 11 and the school is comprised of Primary, Secondary and ASD provisions.

Communication – Communicating with our young people is vital to understand their needs. Positive working relationships, teamwork and communication play a key part in ensuring important information is relayed to other staff.
Organisation –You will need to be confident and organised in general office duties, minute taking and handling student records.
Attentive – No two tasks are the same, so being attentive to greet all visitors, answering telephone calls, booking in appointments, as well as scheduling reviews with other professions.

Sheridan School is a specialist school for boys and girls aged 10 to 16 who have social, emotional and behavioural difficulties with learning difficulties including autistic spectrum disorders. Many of our young people have experienced considerable disruption to their education as a result of their difficulties and may lack confidence in their own abilities.
