The school is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and dynamic interim Business Leader to cover our current post holder’s maternity leave. The ideal candidate will be an experienced Finance Manager or Business Leader who is able to hit the ground running, building a strong rapport with both School and Trust leaders to ensure that the school’s existing financial strategy is carried out, while maintaining high standards of business practice across the Finance and HR functions of the school.

We are looking for a Business Leader who will:

·        Have successful leadership and management experience in a school, or in a relevant field outside education;

·        Be an effective line manager, using existing experience and effective communication and interpersonal skills to build positive and effective working relationships with all stakeholders;

·        Have experience of using financial and administrative software;

·        Be committed to safeguarding, confidentiality and equality;

·        Strive to achieve the best outcomes for all pupils;

·        Act with integrity, honesty, loyalty and fairness to safeguard the assets, financial probity and reputation of George Mitchell School.
