Job overview
We are looking for a School Business Manager to join our supportive team. The ideal candidate should be self-motivated, and enthusiastic. The successful candidate will have experience of managing budgets, financial plans, financial reporting and experience of using Microsoft Office applications. Experience dealing with procurement, HR, and accounting would also be beneficial. Training can be given to further enhance your development within the school.
Opened in 2007 as a tuition centre, Wemms has evolved into a full-time registered special school that offers one-to-one and small group tuition to able students who are not comfortable in an environment of intimidating buildings, big classes and noise. We believe our model for special needs education sees all students and staff thrive and flourish in a nurturing environment.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:
· Work with trustees in the strategic development of the school and provide them with relevant financial information
- Take the lead in the management of finance, premises management, administration and HR
- Manage health and safety, human resources and compliance
- Work directly with the Principal to manage budgets and procurement
- Managing the operation of the business functions of the school
- Advise and implement day-to-day support to the leadership team to promote efficiency
YOU WILL HAVE:
· A School Business Manager (specific qualification i.e. DSBM, CSBM. ADSBM preferred but not essential)
- At least two years’ experience of working in an administrative/secretarial field.
- Experience of managing financial matters
- Forward thinking, creative, receptive to change and able to work with the team.
- Able to work to deadlines.
- Strong attention to detail.
