Claremont Preparatory and Nursery School is a happy, vibrant and inspirational place for children to learn and grow. Designed by the architect Norman Shaw in 1888, the main house is steeped in history on a beautiful 125 acre site with extensive sports grounds and truly enchanting woodlands. Founded in 1925 and located in St Leonards near the historic town of Battle, our School has been a centre of outstanding learning for generations of children throughout East Sussex and surrounding areas. More recently, our association with the International Schools Partnership has brought financial security and renewed investment in our facilities, as well as the ability to draw on much wider resources from a group committed to the continual development of inspirational learning. Claremont has been judged to be Outstanding in all areas in last three inspections.
