About the role
You will be responsible for driving the growth of Cambridge programmes and qualifications in Egypt, aligning with the regional strategy, and set goals. You will strengthen Cambridge's position as a world leading provider of international qualifications by developing and maintaining relationships with schools, education organizations and regulators, delivering real educational value.
As part of this role, you will:
- join a passionate team of professionals who collaborate closely to achieve common goals. In this role, you will be part of an innovative culture that is always looking for new ways to solve the challenges we, and our customers face
- be a driving force, growing market share with new and existing customers by presenting education solutions under the Cambridge offering
- make a difference to the people we serve, driving change through careful listening and collaboration with our partners, be a first point of contact for Cambridge customers in Saudi Arabia.
- Frequently visit and meet with schools, therefore you must be flexible and mobile for such business associated travel.
About you
As School Development Manager, Egypt (Assessment), you will need to have experience driving business growth in the education sector, with a deep understanding of the K-12 education sector in Egypt. You will have the ability to propose education solutions from the Cambridge product portfolio that deliver real educational value for our customers and other stakeholders.
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- A bachelor's degree from a reputable university. An education qualification is a plus.
- An up to date understanding of global and local education trends.
- First language proficiency in both English and Arabic (spoken and written)
- Excellent communication, interpersonal skills and negotiation skills.
- Strong networking skills to grow awareness and generate leads.
- Confidence to represent the organization in speaking engagements.
- Flexibility and mobility for associated business travel.
