FTC Salary: £23,447 - £27,164 per annum

Actual Salary: £20,465.53 - £23,709.89 per annum, pro rata

 

Science Lab Technician

We are excited to share that we are looking for a Science Technician to join our department on a permanent, full-time basis. The Science department offers A Level (all disciplines), BTEC Level 3 and GCSE Combined courses and T Level’s.   

 

Responsibilities

The successful candidate will work closely with two other science technician’s and the  Head of Curriculum to provide technical support to the science teachers, contributing to students’ learning experience by assisting with the preparation of materials and apparatus for practical work.

 

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

The ideal candidate will have experience in a similar role, strong communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced working environment in a calm and effectively manner.

To be successful you will need GCSEs in Science, Maths and English, and A Level/ HNC equivalent in a Science.
