Science Laboratory Assistant

SISHK is looking for a candidate to fill the full-time position of Science Laboratory Assistant. Candidate with work experience in a school environment or laboratory would be an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Provide general laboratory, logistical and operational support
• Organise and store all chemicals according to the safety instructions
• Assist teachers in managing and maintaining the science labs, as well as keeping them in good working order by completing inventory, replenishing necessary supplies, cleaning equipment, and completing administrative tasks (making copies, etc.) as necessary
• Provide administrative support for science teachers
• Prepare materials and apparatus for science experiments.

Requirements

• Degree holder in the study of Science or related disciplines
• Have work experience in a school environment or laboratory
• Be an effective communicator in oral and written English
• Be a good team player
• First-aid certificate is an advantage
