Salary – Competitive, based upon the United Learning pay scale (between £32,850 and £48,050) + TLR of £3836.06

We are looking for a well-qualified graduate of English with excellent subject knowledge, good organisational and time management skills, and the ability to enthuse our students in the pursuit of English language and English literature. You will contribute to leading a thriving English Faculty in both its curricular and extra-curricular opportunities. You will work proactively with the Head of English and the KS3 English Co-Ordinator to lead and implement change and to ensure that all our students understand the value and importance of a diverse English curriculum.

The successful candidate will be able to teach English language and English literature at GCSE. An ability to teach English language or English literature at A level is desirable, but not essential.
