About

We are an award-winning London-based tuition agency – we won the Tuition Business of the Year award in the 2022 National Tutoring Awards arranged by The Tutors’ Association (runner-up in 2023). We are also an accredited National Tutoring Programme (NTP) Tuition Partner.

We offer a more nurturing approach and help students with special educational needs (SEN) and those lacking confidence or motivation. Our heart-based approach – the ‘Bright Heart Approach’ – involves meeting the whole person from their unique perspective with warmth to build trust, self-esteem and self-belief, before building on academic abilities.

We are committed to providing the best possible care to its students and vulnerable adults and to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.

In addition, we offer the right candidate:

Candidates must also provide 2 relevant professional references and a parent reference. Candidates who have lived / worked overseas in the last 5 years will also need to provide certain overseas checks, including a police certificate.

Safeguarding and safer recruitment

Bright Heart has a moral and legal obligation to ensure that, when given responsibility for young people and vulnerable adults, they are treated with the highest possible standard of care.

As disclosed in their safer recruitment policy (see their website), they aim to ensure that unsuitable candidates are deterred from applying to work with their students, and should they apply, they will not be successful in their application.

Their recruitment and selection procedures follow an equal opportunities policy.

They aim to hire the most suitable candidates, with all applicants receiving fair and equitable treatment during the recruitment process.

Successful candidates will be required to sign Bright Heart’s Safeguarding and Child Protection Policy (available on our website) and complete safeguarding induction and annual refresher training.

All applicants need to have the Right to Work in the UK to be considered for the role.
