The Role:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Head of Teaching and Learning to lead and enhance the quality of education across our campuses. This pivotal role involves driving improvements in teaching, learning, and assessment (TLA) standards, managing teacher training programs, and fostering innovation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead quality improvement initiatives to enhance TLA practices across colleges.
  • Oversee and develop teacher training programs, including the new Level 5 Diploma in Teaching.
  • Conduct developmental and graded observations, offering constructive feedback.
  • Drive the adoption of innovative teaching methods and e-learning.
  • Collaborate with curriculum teams to align practices with professional and awarding body standards.
  • Champion safeguarding, equality, and diversity across staff and students.

About You:

You will bring:

  • A graduate qualification and a full teaching qualification.
  • Proven experience in quality improvement and innovative teaching practices.
  • A strong understanding of performance management and educational standards, including OFSTED frameworks.
  • A track record of leading teams, managing change, and delivering high-quality CPD programs.
  • Excellent analytical, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
