Site Health & Safety Supervisor Grade 5 – 15 hours

Health & Safety Officer Grade 8 - 10 hours

Total of 25 hours per week all year –

Mon-Fri 4.00pm to 7.00pm (15 hours) to include lock up of schools

10 hours flexible to meet the needs of the federation

 

 

Grade 5 SCP 6-9 FTE £23,893-£25,119 – Actual salary = £9,686.35-£10,183.38

Grade 8 SCP 22-27 FTE £31,364-£35,745 – Actual Salary = £8,476.75-£9,660.81

All Year Contract - Annual Leave entitlement 24 days (0-4 years) 29 days (5 years +)

 

 

Chadsmoor Federation are seeking to appoint a reliable, professional and practical individual. The successful candidate will support both our Infant and Junior School in providing a safe, effective and efficient learning environment. The ideal candidate will be a self-motivated all-round skilled tradesperson, with a specialism in Health & Safety.


Responsibilities cover specific caretaking duties across both schools including; closing the premises, maintenance and repairs including contributing to projects and maintenance schedules and emergency call outs. Duties will also include supervising the Cleaning Staff to ensure a standard of cleanliness and security is maintained to support and safeguard the welfare of all persons using the school premises. As Health & Safety Officer you will have responsibility for managing Health & Safety throughout the School. This will include the review of policies, risk assessments, analysing accident reports, arranging training, attending meetings and providing reports to SLT and Health & Safety professionals.


The successful candidate will need to be fit and able to cope with physically challenging duties and have good communication skills and be ready to deal with a variety of situations. There will be a requirement to undertake training appropriate to the post.


Please note annual leave is expected to be taken during school holidays except in exceptional circumstances. Working hours during school holidays will be flexible.
