WHGS is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and committed AV/Sound Technician on a permanent, part-time basis.
Reporting to the Head of Music and Faculty Leader, the main duties will include the following (also see Job Description):
- To provide technical support and assist teaching staff in the staging of academy performances, e.g. concerts, shows and assemblies, and lessons where appropriate.
- Record and edit Music and Drama performances for KS4 and 5 qualifications, and support in the preparation for submission (Logic Pro X).
- To maintain, trouble shoot and help fix, where applicable, equipment in the music and drama departments, e.g. fixing musical keyboards and guitars.

William Hulme’s Grammar School is the second most over-subscribed school in Manchester and one of the most successful comprehensive schools in the country. WHGS is an all-through (3-18) Academy of over 1450 pupils with a wide range of abilities, ethnicities and backgrounds.
