This is an opportunity to be part of Bradfields Academy’s successful team. We are looking to recruit Special Needs Teaching Assistants to join our dedicated team.

We are looking to recruit Teaching Assistants who are passionate and experienced working with students with learning disabilities and complex needs wanting to make a difference to the students’ lives. You will be responsible for providing a dynamic range of support for students with a range of special educational needs both inside and out of the classroom. Students are aged from 4 – 19 years. You will ensure all students can thrive and fully develop their social, cognitive and emotional skills, working alongside the teacher to be a role model and guide; to motivate and enable all students to achieve whilst having high expectations for the behavioural and intellectual development of each learner.
Within this position it is ideal if you are experienced and knowledgeable to work with learners with special needs; a relevant Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant certification and/or SEND qualifications would be advantageous from care or school work based experience. Previous experience working with moderate to complex learning difficulties within the 4 – 19 age range would be an advantage. You will have a great work ethic, patience with a calming presence and keen to be involved in all aspects of the academy community.
