Job overview

Post:  Student Receptionist

Hours: Part Time – 2 days per week - Term Time only

Salary: £7,908.51 per annum, pro rata to the full-time equivalent of £22,913 per annum

Contract: Permanent

Start date: July 2024

Glenmoor & Winton Academies are looking to appoint an enthusiastic, versatile and reliable person to run our student reception, working 15 hours per week on Mondays and Tuesdays, 8.00 am – 4.00 pm, term time only, with an option to increase the hours to 24 hours per week.

The position is varied and can be extremely busy at times, so requires a person who is friendly, professional and can remain calm under pressure. The majority of the role will be reception duties, but you may also be required to undertake a range of clerical and administrative support tasks during quieter times so confidence communicating on the phone and in undertaking administrative duties is essential.

The role is on our student reception, dealing directly with queries from students and parents, so experience of working within a school environment would be an advantage but not essential. The successful candidate will be competent in the use of IT with the ability to effectively use Microsoft Office packages.

If interested, please apply online. If you would like more information about the role please contact Principal’s PA Mrs Dianne Cripps on dcripps@glenmoorandwinton.org.uk or on 01202 527818

Closing date: 20th June 2024

Interviews: Dates to be confirmed

The Academy is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and applicants must be willing to undergo child protection screening, including checks with past employers and an Enhanced Disclosure via the DBS. To comply with the Immigration, Asylum and Nationality Act 2006, all prospective employees will be required to supply evidence of eligibility to work in the UK.
