We are a thriving and varied school community who value all of our children’s many talents whether they be academic, sporting, creative or otherwise.
We set high expectations for all members of our community – adults and children alike – and we take pleasure in celebrating their many achievements. We are very proud of our school which offers a caring environment where children happily explore a rich and diverse curriculum.
Our school vision is:
To ensure our children are given the opportunities to DREAM of a bright future, BELIEVE in themselves, and ACHIEVE their highest potential in school and throughout their life so that they can truly make a difference wherever they go.
Our aim is to ensure that all children are able to learn and thrive in a learning environment that is built on mutual respect. Our core values are a fundamental part of school life and enable us to show PRIDE in all that we do:

PRIDE will be referred to daily during lessons and assemblies and pupils and staff have a good understanding of how their actions reflect each value and support a cohesive community. Our children at Newton Road will be expected to show our values on a daily basis and of course this will be recognised.
We are aware of the vitally important part that we play in a child’s upbringing as children spend a great deal of their time at school. Therefore, the role we play is so very important and we take the responsibility very seriously.
