Eastbrook school is an increasingly popular and rapidly improving ‘all through’ school in Dagenham. In December 2021, Ofsted recognised this by awarding us a ‘Good’ judgement. We are looking for an exceptional candidate who is:
· An experienced and enthusiastic subject specialist with excellent contextual knowledge to confidently teach to KS4 (essential) and KS5 (desired).
· A confident classroom teacher of Art with high expectations of learning and behaviour.
· An art graduate with a good honours degree.
· fully informed of current educational initiatives especially those relating to Art.
· Willing to assist with extra-curricular activities.
· Willing to lead extra-curricular clubs and educational visits, especially those involving Art.
· An expert in the use of ICT and use ICT confidently to enhance classroom teaching.
· Willing to play an active role in all aspects school life, both pastoral and academic.
· Happy to assist with all school activities as required.

About Eastbrook School
Eastbrook School is an Ofsted rated Good, all-through school in the London Borough of Barking and Dagenham and is part of the Barking Abbey family. Founded in 1933, Eastbrook has a well-established history of serving the local community, with many generations of families attending as students and even joining as staff. The primary school opened in 2016 and is growing in size year on year. The secondary school transferred into new, state of the art buildings in 2017, benefitting from purpose-built specialist learning environments with industry level resources.
