FTE English Teacher required

The Constance Bridgeman Centre is a KS4 PRU serving the educational needs of up to fifty students in Years 10 & 11 in the London Borough of Redbridge who have been excluded from mainstream education or have been referred to us for specialist intervention concerning SEMH needs. We are committed to the progress of our students and believe that every child has the right and the potential to achieve educational success and play their full part in society.

We are currently looking to appoint a qualified English teacher from January 2025.  NQTs and ECTs are welcome to apply.

Successful applicants will be expected to teach GCSE English Language and Literature and contribute to the class tutor responsibilities of the Centre. Creativity and flexibility combined with a systematic and disciplined approach are called for - if you know the difference between challenge and confrontation, if you can respond rather than react, we’d like to hear from you. 

The Constance Bridgeman Centre is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children. The successful candidate will be required to undertake an enhanced DBS clearance.
