Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Planning and preparing courses and lessons.
  • Teaching, according to their educational needs, the pupils assigned to you, including the
  • Setting and marking of work carried out by the pupils in School and elsewhere.
  • Assessing, recording and reporting on the development, progress and attainment of pupils in accordance with School policy.
  • Setting, with the pupil and where possible the parent, short term targets for learning which take into account prior attainment.

Rawmarsh Community School is a mixed, non-selective, non-denominational secondary school without sixth form situated in Rotherham, South Yorkshire. It reopened as an academy in August 2014 and is supported by a multi-academy trust called Wickersley Partnership Trust, an exempt charity that supports nine primary and secondary schools and is regulated by the Secretary of State for Education. 

A smaller than average secondary school, Rawmarsh provides 1,075 places for students between the ages of 11 and 16 when fully subscribed.
