Our schools provide a nurturing environment for teachers to develop their existing experience or build on their teacher training as an ECT.
The successful candidate will work as a team with another food technology/hospitality teacher a food technician and with the support of existing Cotswold Chine teachers to establish this new style of Food Technology and Hospitality classroom. They will also have the support of an established therapeutic team.
Experience in special needs is not essential as training will be provided. The ability to form relationships with young people, reliability, resilience, and a flexible approach to working with others are important.
At our schools the successful candidate will teach and nurture a small class group of 4-8 students and with an experienced co-teacher. The co-teacher usually plays a mentor role for new teaching staff when they first join the school before forming a longer-term partnership to teach their assigned class.
