Walsall Academy in Bloxwich, Walsall opened in September 2003. The student enrolment is approximately 1400 students with around 1050 in the lower school and a further 350 in the Sixth Form. The School is one of a number of City Academies established in England prior to the expansion of the Academies Programme in 2010 and was originally sponsored by The Mercers’ Company of the City of London and Thomas Telford School.

We are a founder school of the Thomas Telford Multi Academy Trust.

We are keen to hear from newly qualified/early career or experienced teachers who want to work with our students to give them the very best start in life.
