We are seeking a committed and enthusiastic teacher of History and Politics to join our very strong department. History is a popular subject at KS4 and KS5. The appointed candidate will teach History across all Key Stages and teach Politics at KS5.
Ernest Bevin College is an 11-19 boys’ school with 1250 on roll. We have a mixed sixth form of 370 students based in state of the art buildings with good transport links.
We are an Elite Sports College competing at national and international level in a range of sports. We have full time coaches for volleyball, judo and table tennis and fantastic sports facilities including a swimming pool and fitness studio. These facilities are extensively used by students and staff free of charge.
We are one of only 4 schools in the country to have been awarded STEM Assured status. We have a Combined Cadet Force (CCF) and the Royal Marines working with us on site, and we have recently formed a Cricket Academy in partnership with Twenty20 Community Cricket.
We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and staff. The position is subject to an enhanced DBS check. Visits to the college are welcome.
