We are seeking to appoint a passionate and motivated part time mathematics teacher.
This is an exciting opportunity for an inspirational teacher with strong communication and interpersonal skills. Successful applicants will be rigorous in the pursuit of high standards for all students. An excellent knowledge and understanding of the subject is essential, as is a commitment to students’ personal best. Our results are a testament to our team – in 2018, 63% of our A2 Mathematicians and received A*-A grades. Our GCSE results are also strong, with 75% achieving grades 9-4 in 2018. The successful applicant will also have the opportunity to support a range of extracurricular Maths activities, including Maths Club, Chess Club, the National Cipher Challenge and KS4 Additional Maths.

About Ralph Allen School
Ralph Allen School is a co-educational, non-denominational, over-subscribed academy for students aged 11 to 18 years, situated in the World Heritage city of Bath. Our ethos is one of achievement through respect, teamwork and personal best.
In 2016 it became a founder member of the Palladian Academy Trust, composed of eight local schools.
Ralph Allen School was named after the Bath mine owner, entrepreneur and philanthropist who helped with the building of Georgian Bath and the early development of the Post Office.
The school was founded in 1957 and became an academy in August 2012. It is celebrating its 60th anniversary during 2017-18. Following recent exciting campus developments, the school has formulated a comprehensive strategic vision for future campus expansion.

The secondary school specialises in three core subjects: English, Math's and Science. It has been mentioned in The Times on its annual list of highest-achieving schools. It has great facilities for extra-curricular activities, including an art and photography building and an all-weather sports pitch.
Ofsted report
Ralph Allen achieved a 'Good' when it was last inspected in 2018, with one of those outstanding features being the Sixth Form. Ofsted assessments of the school have never been below 'Good'.
