Biddick Academy is a good school (Ofsted, 2021) conveniently situated 10 minutes’ drive from Newcastle and Durham. About Biddick Academy
Biddick Academy is a co-educational secondary school based in Washington, near Sunderland, for students aged 11-16.
In 1997, Biddick was one of the first 11 schools in England to become a specialist sports college. The academy’s facilities include a sports hall, a dance studio, a fitness suite, a gymnasium, a full-size 3G pitch, floodlit tennis courts, a theatre and ICT suites.
