Teacher of MYP Individual & Societies
Job Description:
- Knowledge, enthusiasm and/or experience to teach in the IB MYP 1-3 (Year 7, 8 & 9) curriculum framework across Individuals and Societies
- Exhibit enthusiasm to contribute and/or teach Year 6 and 7 as part of a future Middle School initiative
- Knowledge, enthusiasm and/or experience to teach inquiry and concept based learning across a blend of (and/or) history, economics, geography, philosophy, sociology / anthropology, business management, psychology and world religions at MYP 1-3 (Year 7-9).
- Lead on the MYP development and approach across the faculty
- Facilitate regular wellbeing sessions
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate:
- A track record of exceptional teaching experience
- Capable of teaching across Secondary age group
- Outstanding subject knowledge
- Enthusiasm and motivation for exemplary teaching and learning
- Having work experience of at least 5 years in accordance with the qualifications of the position to be applied
