Teaching ServiceWinmalee High School is a Year 7-12 comprehensive high school located in the Blue Mountains. It has an enrolment of approximately 760 students, including 30 Aboriginal students. The school has a Positive Education and Positive Behaviour for Learning focus, supporting students to become safe, respectful and resilient learners. The school has a strong reputation for developing the whole child, which includes academic excellence, leadership and involvement in co-curricular programs and opportunities. School funding is strategically utilised to support opportunities for students to improve learning outcomes both in and out of the classroom.
Approval to teach Science 7-10, Physics, and willingness to teach Computing Technology.
Demonstrated ability to work as a collaborative faculty team member with effective verbal and written communication skills to interact with students, other staff and parents.
The capacity to design and deliver innovative, differentiated, and inclusive programs for a diverse range of student learning needs.
Capacity to contribute to whole school priorities or extra-curricular activities.
An unconditional full approval to teach is a requirement. If you do not hold a full approval to teach with the NSW Department of Education, you are required to commence the application process at the same time as you apply for this teaching opportunity.
