Castle Primary School is a highly successful school located in the rural setting of Mow Cop in Staffordshire, on the border with Cheshire. The school is a member of The Learning Partnership; a multi-academy trust of 15 schools that serves families across the Cheshire East and Staffordshire area.

The Learning Partnership, along with the Executive Headteacher are looking to appoint a temporary, full-time teacher for the year 3/4 class. The successful candidate will be highly creative and motivated to inspire our young children to make excellent progress on their learning journey within the school. We welcome applications from talented and enthusiastic professionals who have high expectations and ambition for themselves and their pupils. Candidates with experience of teaching KS2 will be of particular interest to us.

We are looking for a candidate who:

  • Has a secure understanding of the National Curriculum.
  • Has a willingness to be challenged and to challenge and motivate our children.
  • Is committed to improving academic outcomes.
  • Has an eagerness to undertake CPD to enhance knowledge and practice.
  • Has the skills to build successful relationships with children, and colleagues.

  • Has excellent communication and organisational skills.
