Outstanding, experienced TEACHERS are required for a January 2025 start owing to the healthy expansion of our wonderful school that will soon be collaborating with Reigate Grammar School in the upcoming months.


Beaconhouse Newlands International School/ Reigate Grammar School KL is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff to share this commitment. Staff will be subject to rigorous checks and the interview process will include safeguarding and staff conduct. Applicants are required to declare any criminal convictions, barring or cautions, or disciplinary proceedings related to young people. 

All candidates are expected to have an up-to-date UK DBS or equivalent police check, Bachelor of Education and higher, PGCE Certificate, QTS Status and other relevant certificates to support the position applied with a minimum of 3 years of full Teaching experience.


All positions attract an excellent remuneration package:

  • Competitive Gross Salary, which includes housing, travel and mobile phone allowances.
  • The school/company will take full responsibility for the cost of applying for and processing employment visas for overseas hiring. We sponsor the dependent visa cost for up to one spouse and two children (below 18 years of age).
  • One-off relocation allowance is provided for those with first-time entry to Malaysia.
  • Up to 10 days, 9 nights stay in a suitable hotel before obtaining your own accommodation upon entering Malaysia for the first time
  • Expatriates are linked with a housing agent before their arrival for them to be assisted with house hunting.
  • Tuition Fee 100% Concession for up to 2 children studying in our schools. Other fees such as the cost of consumables, materials books, uniforms, resource fees or any other items shall be borne by the employee.  
  • Medical coverage is provided for the spouse of the expatriate teacher including up to 2 children below 18 years of age. All dependents must reside in Malaysia.
  • One-way economy class tickets for self and up to one spouse and two children (below 18 years of age)upon mobilisation to Malaysia (if applicable) and at the time of repatriation. 
  • Renewal Bonus – this is only payable to the expatriate staff who have successfully completed the initial 24-months contract and have opted to renew another 24-month contract.

Beaconhouse Newlands International School is a mixed, non-selective, non-denominational independent all-through school with sixth form in Malaysia, serving students from the age of 3-16. It belongs to the Beaconhouse Group, who operate schools around the world including Pakistan, Belgium, Thailand, United Kingdom and Oman.

Beaconhouse Newlands International School follows the Cambridge International curriculum from primary school, with students going on to sit IGCSE exams. Facilities on the campus include computer suites, science laboratories, an arts studio, a performing arts centre, and a library. English is the main language spoken at the school.
