32.5 hours per week, term time only
Braidwood is a highly successful school for deaf pupils aged between 11 and 19.
We require a qualified, skilled and committed individual to work with our profoundly d/Deaf pupils. You may also be required to provide signed communication support and voice over for newly appointed teachers who do not yet have British Sign Language Skills.
It is essential that all applicants already have:
- Minimum of British Sign Language Stage II qualification and are fluent BSL users.
- Good literacy, numeracy and ICT skills
- An appropriate NVQ2 qualification in supporting pupils learning
- Experience in providing signed communication support and voice over
