Robert Barclay Academy is looking to appoint a dedicated Teaching Assistant. In the past two years the academy has been oversubscribed, making it an exciting time to join the team.
The role of Teaching Assistant offers great opportunities to develop and is a very rewarding role seeing the pupils flourish.
If you have a ‘can do’ attitude and can offer the team excellent communication skills, show intuition within a range of everyday tasks and activities and want to support the needs of the pupils with flair, this could be the role for you.

Robert Barclay Academy is part of the highly successful Scholar’s Education Trust. We are a comprehensive 11-18 secondary school in which students make positive progress and our A Level results place us in the top 25% of schools nationally for the progress they make. Resources are good, and we place an emphasis on ensuring teachers have everything they need to teach their lessons effectively.

Robert Barclay Academy is situated on a green and leafy site near Hoddesdon town centre, with good links both by road and rail (the trainline from Broxbourne station is a ten minute walk away and runs from the north into central London). We have approximately 700 students on roll, with over 100 in the Sixth Form.
