We are recruiting a Teaching Assistant to join our highly committed Inclusion team. Our ideal candidates will have some experience of working alongside teenagers who struggle with aspects of their learning.
We are recruiting a post to join our highly committed and supportive Inclusion team, where you will primarily be based in our Specialist Resource Provision. Our provision is specially designed for students with a primary diagnosis of Autism Spectrum Condition and SEMH needs. All students within the provision will have an Educational Health Care Plan and will complete their learning in both the SRP and the mainstream.
Our ideal candidates will have some experience of working alongside students with ASC and SEMH needs who struggle with aspects of their learning and social communication. Applicants with speech and language, ASC and SEMH experience are particularly desirable to suit our student’s needs at this time.
Our posts would also suit a graduate thinking of pursuing a teaching career or training to become an Emotional Literacy Support Assistant and would include opportunities to run intervention groups and work with small groups of students.

Working hours for a full-time post are 8.20am to 4pm Monday to Friday, which includes unpaid rest breaks and totals 36 working hours per week. FTE salary £19,507.00 - £19,982.00pa
Posts are initially fixed for 1 year.
