Teaching Assistant Level 1

East Garforth Primary Academy are looking to appoint a Teaching Assistant Level 1 to join our academy as soon as possible on a permanent, part-time basis.

Your new role

As a Teaching Assistant Level 1, you will work under the direct instruction of teaching/senior staff, usually in a classroom with the teacher. You will support pupils to ensure they can access learning and provide general support to the teacher in the management of pupils and the classroom.

Salary: Grade C Points 4 to 6 (£23,114 - £23,893 Full Time Equivalent) subject to pro rata. The minimum actual pro rata salary per annum for this job starts at £17,616.35.

Hours: 33.5 hours per week / Term Time only (38 weeks)
