Ambitious post-16 pathways are a key priority within our schools.  Building on the success of Liverpool Life Sciences UTC, The STUDIO Liverpool and North Liverpool Academy we are now transforming the sixth form at Gateacre school.

As we develop, collaboratively, the largest school based post-16 provision in the region, we’re looking for opportunities to enhance our offer.

Economics as a widely recognised high quality academic pathway is an important addition to our offer. 

We are aiming to recruit an Economics Specialist to lead development across our schools, working closely with the central school improvement team and school leaders to raise develop and deliver a high-quality offer. You will contribute significantly to Trust based post-16 provision, focussing on agreed priorities.

You will be responsible for establishing and leading subject based developments that enables teachers to succeed and deliver the highest quality Economics education for all our children. Our schools will become centres of excellence for Economics education.

You will contribute to activities between schools within the Trust and within subject networks to lead post-16 delivery and support non-specialist staff to develop KS4 curriculum offers that provide a pathway into post-16 study.

This is an extraordinary opportunity for someone to play a pivotal role in development of our schools at a time of significant growth within the Trust.
