We are one of the newest members of The David Ross Education Trust and are on a unique journey to provide the children of Skegness with an unrivalled education. To do this we need someone outstanding.

As a non-class-based Vice Principal, your responsibility will be to set the strategic academic direction for the academy, with a focus on Inclusion and SEND. In conjunction with the Principal, you will also ensure excellent, innovative standards of teaching and learning are achieved across the academy.

This role would be ideal for an established SENDCo looking for that next step in leadership.

We strongly encourage visits to the academy, and will host an open morning on Wednesday 8th January 2025 from 9:00- 10:00.

Please contact the academy office on enquiries@richmondprimary.co.uk to reserve a space on these tours, or to arrange an alternative time to visit.

About the role

Welcomed to the David Ross Education Trust in March 2024, this is a pivotal time for our academy. We are developing a dynamic leadership team, dedicated to meeting the needs of all our wonderful children. This new, non-class-based, role will place priority on our commitment to all of our students achieving their full potential.

Your responsibility will be, through your role as Vice Principal and SENDCo, to set the strategic academic direction for vulnerable children within the academy, in conjunction with the Principal. You will ensure excellent, innovative standards of teaching and learning are achieved across the academy. The role requires the unique ability to balance the specific needs of the individual student with the broad needs of the whole academy: to command the respect of staff, pupils, parents/carers and Governors.

This is a permanent, full-time position. 37 hours per week, 52 weeks per year.

Living and Working in Lincolnshire

If you’re considering a move to Lincolnshire – we can offer a Relocation Package.

People move to Lincolnshire for all sorts of reasons: the wide open spaces, the quality of life and the friendly people, the low crime rates, plus house prices below the UK’s national average. They fall in love with the countryside, historic buildings, big skies and busy market towns.

Lincolnshire is a very rural county and is located in the East Midlands within the United Kingdom approximately 150 miles from London.

Skegness is close to the Lincolnshire Wolds Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty – the local natural coastline – with many market towns within easy reach.
