Vocational Studies Teacher

We are seeking an enthusiastic committed professional to join us as a Vocational Studies Teacher

The successful candidate will:

· Plan and teach lessons, working with small groups and individual students

· Prepare teaching materials, instruct and monitor students in the use and care of equipment and materials, in order to prevent injuries and damage

· Help students develop confidence, independence and encourage them to learn

· Manage behaviour, mark work and talk to parents and carers about their children's progress

Our ideal candidate will have:

· Experience in either of the following is a requirement of this role; Brick Work, Painting and Decorating, Mechanics and/or Plastering

· A committed and passionate view of students with SEND

· At least two years’ experience minimum of working in a SEND environment or similar unit/provision

· QTS/QTLS is advantageous
