Salary: Support Grade 4 £21,189.60 - £26,347.11 (£24,310 - £30,227 FTE per annum)
Background
The Prospect Trust is a multi-academy Trust based on the Hampshire / Surrey border. It provides outstanding education and support for c. 6,000 learners through its family of local academies that include The Sixth Form College Farnborough, Tomlinscote School, Frimley and Frimley CofE Junior School.
We are an ambitious Trust with a relentless desire to improve the educational outcomes and lives of the young people in our local communities. We now have an exciting opportunity for a Work Experience Coordinator to join our Careers team.
Our ideal candidate
We are seeking an experienced, motivated, and flexible individual with a positive attitude and strong interpersonal and administrative skills, to provide an outstanding service to students from (TPT) academies and to other schools outside of the trust who we provide a work experience service to.
The role
This is an excellent opportunity to work in partnership with local employers, schools and colleges to secure work experience placements for young people aged 14-18.
The successful applicant will work with the highly skilled work experience team delivering, promoting and expanding our quality service.
The main focus of this role is to:
● Be a first point of contact and provide a professional, customer focused service to schools, parents and students.
● Network with and optimise links with local employers.
● Endeavour to resolve enquiries at the first point of contact and escalate enquiries where necessary.
● Deliver or assist with student briefings, clinics and parent evenings.
● Conduct health and safety pre-placement visits when needed
● Maintain the work experience platform/database and ensure all necessary documentation is prepared, distributed and returned in accordance with the work experience process, ensuring confidentiality at all times.
This position is term time only. You will need to hold a full driving licence as movement between the sites is an essential criteria for this role.

Since September 2017, The College has been part of The Prospect Trust, a multi-academy trust. The College had originally been a grammar school founded in 1936, becoming a full sixth form college in 1992. The college is co-educational, with over 3900 students aged 16-19. Since its establishment as a sixth form, the college has undergone extensive redevelopment and modernisation, and as a result can boast of a wide range of high-quality teaching and recreational facilities such as a brand-new purpose-built teaching block opened in 2010 containing teaching facilities for physics, electronics and photography among others. Around a third of the students at the college are on mixed programmes of study combining A levels and vocational courses. The college offers 33 A-level courses, with the largest being in psychology and mathematics. Of the 11 vocational courses, the largest are in criminology and business.
