<p>A fully resourced unit of work covering the Philosophy of Religion for KS3. The following lessons are included:</p> <ol> <li>An introduction to the Philosophy of Religion</li> <li>The ideas of key philosophers</li> <li>Philosophical knowledge through a ‘philosophy escape room’</li> <li>Philosophical knowledge</li> <li>Arguments in favour of God’s existence</li> <li>Does God act in the world? (miracles, religious experience, testimony)</li> <li>Understanding the idea of God through ideas such as paradoxes.</li> <li>Arguments against the existence of God.</li> </ol> <p>Throughout there is a focus on teaching students both core knowledge and how to effectively construct arguments using a ‘philosopher’s toolkit’.</p>
