I created two AQA style assessments for the new 2016 course on the combined topics ‘le patrimoine’ and ‘la cyber société’.
Each includes 4 listening activities (some from youtube links and some from the old AQA papers which are available on e-AQA), 9 reading activities (including a literary text) and 2 writing activities (translations).
Please be aware that some of the activities are the same in both papers as they both cover ‘la cyber société’.

This is aimed at pupils from pre-school to year 4 maybe 5 depending on the class. I noticed that pupils respond better to songs and lyrics when they recognise the tune and are familiar with the English version. I tried to stay as close as possible to the original to encourage pupils learning the vocabulary in French.
This is a worksheet created with a set 2 year 9 in mind to introduce the futur simple. The futur proche had already been introduced and practised last term and the idea was to make the approach to this new tense more independent. It includes translation, reading and listening activities. The introduction of the irregular exceptions is done with a 'listen and spell' activity.
This is a worksheet to go along with the 11 minute long video by Cyprien. It is available on youtube and is a perfect source material for the new GCSE module on technology.
Be careful, the video contains mild swearing (I just ignored that with my class and they didn't ask)
Activities for primary school children on Easter in French. Includes link to a youtube video with an activity, a link to a French website for a booklet, vocabulary, colouring in, a mini quiz 'qui suis-je' and what is in the photo true or false.
This is an assessment (translation into both languages, reading and writing) on the module 'Monde Perso' which includes family and school.
I created with the new GCSE in mind and the activities are similar. I also used the GCSE mark scheme available on the AQA website to mark it.
This powerpoint includes the lyrics and the link to the youtube video I have used. It has activities for numeracy and literacy as well as some easy information about trees loosing their leaves in the winter. It is appropriate for primary school but could also easily be adapted to year 7 or maybe even 8 (lower sets) who need to work on adjectives. !!! some of the font used is NATIONAL FIRST FONT DOTTED which you might need to have installed to see all the slides as they are meant to be!!!!
This booklet was created for a top set GCSE group on the topic of holidays.
It includes explanations and activities on all tenses (including future antérieur and conditionnel passé).
I used it as homework for the summer holidays in preparation for a mock speaking exam as it also includes all the answers to the activities.

This unit of work includes a workbook, a breakdown of the topics and the main vocabulary and the assessment to go with it. It was created for a top set year 8 but can easily be adapted for other year groups, especially with foundation GCSE in mind. Please remember the listening activities in the assessment are taken from past papers, the tracks can’t be included as they are protected by copyright but are all available online.

30 slides with lyrics and activities based on the song and other christmassy things.
Song can be found on youtube.
Created for Primary pupils but can be adapted for Y7.
