<p>AQA GCSE Religious Studies A: Christianity and Islam Revision</p> <p>**No lessons included, but this pack does contain a full range of resources that can accompany classroom teaching for the whole GCSE period alongside a complete set of revision resources to cover the whole GCSE.</p> <p>I developed this resource pack following 9 years of teaching experience and 2 years working for the exam board. The first group I used these resources with improved from an average grade of 3.9 in November of their year 11 to an average grade 5 in their summer exams.</p> <p>The pack contains 3 linked resources:</p> <ol> <li><strong>Writing mats</strong> - covering everything needed to support literacy improvement, structuring answers to exam questions, practising use of religious teachings, timing tips, sentence starters and a key word bank. Whole of paper 1 and 4 themes on paper 2 covered.</li> <li><strong>Q &amp; A flashcards</strong> - indexed to be used easily alongside the textbook / revision guide and set up in a front/back printed format for use in practising general knowledge</li> <li><strong>Teachings flashcards</strong> - dual coded with the same images and colours as the writing mats to support retention</li> </ol> <p>Writing mats can be used during any written activity to practice exam style questions as well as for revision before tests. <p>Everything you need to help your students put together high scoring answers to any GCSE question. These double sided writing mats provide:</p> <ul> <li>Comprehensive, thematised teachings, indexed to the same topic headings in the AQA textboook / revision guides</li> <li>Colour and image coding for easy use and memorisation support</li> <li>Guidelines for all exam questions</li> <li>Timing suggestions for all exam questions</li> <li>Sentence starter suggestions</li> <li>A key word bank</li> </ul> <p>These revision maps are for Religious Studies GCSE. They are specifically made for AQA A but could also be used to support students enrolled with the WJEC / Eduqas and Edexcel exam boards.</p> <p>They are best printed on A3 although the details are still readable on A4 versions. The mats are set up so that double sided or single sided versions can be printed.
