<p>An assembly for Holocaust memorial day. The information is for reminding students about the topic. There fore, should mostly be used with older students that are familiar with the topic.</p> <p>The aim of the assembly is to ask student to reflect on the human cost of the Holocaust and any genocide. It is for students to reflect on how to prevent this from happening again, making reference to the summer 2024 during the far right riots up and down the UK.</p>

<p>This resource is for teachers who are introducing a group to Brecht techniques. The resources has many activities, devising stimuli and tasks included as well as explanations  of most commonly seen Drama techniques used in Epic Theatre.</p> <p>The power point is engaging and full of information to develop their subject knowledge and improve specific vocabulary usage in lessons. Groups have responded very well to it over the past few years.</p> <p>Can be used with KS3 or KS4. There is enough content to last half a term dependent on time allocated.</p>

This pack is filled with support for all GCSE Drama students about to follow the new specification. My current year 10 are about to prepare for their devised performance. Within this pack the students find support from picking their stimulus, looking at key techniques of practitioners and styles (Brecht, Stan, TIE and Physical Theatre), support with how to write their portfolios and evaluations. There is also a list of rehearsal techniques and sentence starters for evaluating.

A one off (Can be split into two) Drama Session ideal for capturing learners imagination when they are feeling tired towards the end of term. Includes a game, problem solving activity, exploration of basic characters and creating atmosphere. Very fast paced and learners have found it engaging and fun. A resource to do in assembly or with a form group for students who are about to embark on interviews for either college, sixth form, university or work. Visual PowerPoint giving talking points for the speaker looking at some tips from professionals about making a good first impression.

For PSHE use with older learners to provoke a discussion and thoughtfulness about the language they use daily. Could be used as a stimulus for a debate or P4C.

<p>This is a one off lesson that can be used as a stand alone for when students have to isolate or work from home. The lesson has been created for an hour and forty minute lesson, so can be adapted for shorter or longer sessions and split over two. Aimed for Google classroom users, but again can be adapted. Also can be used for creative writing.</p> <p>The lesson covers drama vocabulary such as stimulus and monologue and allows a creative tasks to take place without much guidance.</p> <p>Can be used as a pre-recorded or live lesson.</p> <p>There is an opportunity for practical learning to showcase performance at the end.</p>

This is resource is an exploration through various physical theatre workshops. The students look at Berkoff technquies, Masks, Physicalising Objects, Stylised Mime, Symbolic Movement and ends in learning how to devise physical theatre from a stimulus. This is perfect for departments introducing or re-capping GCSE Drama skills or trying to bridge the gap more at KS3. Slides have links, questions and guidance for teachers in the notes of the presentation. This can be easily adapted to suit teaching styles. 6 2 hour workshops (Can be split between sessions).

This is resource designed for KS3 and KS4 about understanding the difference between these two topics. It offers information and advice as well as thought provoking discussion points for a class. Understanding the link between these issues and academic success. Helping with the awareness of positive mental health in young people.

I have made a revision guide for year 11 about to take the unit 3 exam for WJEC. The revision guide goes through the examination step by step with tips and tasks available. It even includes an equipment check, suggested timings for the exam, section B advice and an overview of characters and the play itself.

This session can act as a great introduction or refresher session to TIE. The aims, skills, language and knowledge the learners need for the Unit 1 and Unit 3 of the new WJEC Drama specification, for first teaching September 2016. The lesson specifically focuses on WJEC Drama specification, and even includes a 1-9 success criteria based on the new spec.

<p>This is an introduction into how to create interesting and varied characters in Drama. This SOW can last a whole half term and the booklet that goes with it has really helped H/W. The booklet follows all of the lessons and helps to include more written elements into classwork. We explore the use of voice, body and face as well as getting the learners to reflect on their own skills and confidence they are gaining. All homework is added after every session. We explore the most interesting characters from The BFG, The Twits, Matilda, Charlie and The Chocolate Factory and Revolting Rhymes. Could easily be used for KS2 and English.</p>

This is an assessment I created for my GCSE year 9 class. In preparation for the EDUQAS Drama GCSE paper in year 11. The resource consists of one exam paper (Section A) on Blood Brothers using the required knowledge for EDUQAS. This is not a set text for this exam board, the resource is only to asses key skills and subject knowledge in relation to a text. However, it can also be used for many other boards as the subject knowledge crosses over. The PP is a guide through tackling the questions with the students prior to the exam. The paper could also be simplified for KS3 assessment.
