This is a simple sheet asking the students to decide whether the statements are positive or negative and which category they fit in. There is a Writing task on the third page.
Here are some resources to extend students above the contents of unit 3. They cover extra modes of transport, irregular verbs in the preterite, a preterite test and 1 item on the three main tenses altogether.
We use the IB coursebook and here are my resources for relations sociales. Often, I have taken writing tasks and oral questions from the textbook and created a ppt slide or two with which to teach. The debate language mat in the mobile phone debate ppt came from someone on here I think, so thank you to them for that! The final upload is a self assessment sheet to get my students to reflect and so that I can hone in on any weak areas. All feedback is very welcome!
Here are a couple of resources to support Year 7 students in a build-up to a Writing assessment on Units 1-3 of Encore Tricolore 1, but they could be used if you are studying family, where you live and basic information.
I wrote this for a lower ability group so that they can practise finding details in the present, past and near future. The answers are at the end. It's loosely linked to the first half of Unit 2 in Encore Tricolore 2.
This worksheet has three sections and goes up to Level 4. There is a short spoken conversation, a reading comprehension and then a writing exercise based upon James Nottingham's Seven-steps-to-feedback-heaven (I've condensed it down to five) which includes peer assessment. It covers basic information such as name, age, birthday, family pets etc and is for Year 7.
This goes with unit 6 of Encore Tricolore 1 and includes a ppt to present the vocabulary, flashcards for pairwork, guidelines and a peer/self assessment sheet for the presentation done by the students and a spelling test with the answers.
There are guidelines and vocabulary for the students on the powerpoint, a tick and tally grid for the audience to keep them involved and self and teacher assessment using traffic lighting in the Publisher document. This is based on Encore Tricolore 2 unit 4, but could easily be adpated to other courses.

There is a student and teacher version of the powerpoint covering:

the French school system

recent changes

a bit about social inequality

the reform of 2015 with a video link & gapfill

the brevet as of 2020

le redoublement - changes

written/oral questions to consider

useful structures & vocabulary to support in answering the written/oral questions

I put this up before, but it had mistakes in it, it should be ok now! It is a Thinking skills worksheet involving spotting and correcting the errors, as well as vocabulary finding. It covers daily routine, school and school uniform so it is linked to Unit 3 as well.
French B Course Companion textbook: A4: Stereotypes: page 88. I've done a couple of slides to support my stduents when writing the compte-rendu about extraterrestrials.
