<p>This resource is ideal for providing personalised feedback for each student, based on the GCSE markschemes for writing. It is a case of highlighting the relevant parts and then sticking in the pupils’ books! It allows marking time to be reduced without compromising on the quality of feedback given.</p>
<p>This feedback sheet is separated into the 3 different tasks, with individual strengths and areas to improve comments for each one. It will allow staff to complete a mock speaking assessment and provide feedback simultaneously without compromising on the quality of the feedback that you give.</p>
<p>This is a marksheet that will allow you to conduct speaking exam mocks and also provide feedback at the same time, saving on doubling up work.</p>
<p>It is set out to allow comments for each of the 5 questions, followed by a grammar checklist that can be either ticked or crossed. Then, there are some boxes to allow targets to be set for each individual pupil.</p>
<p>This marking sheet is great for assessments containing listening, reading and translation aspects. The comments are pupil friendly, but based around requirements at KS4. You can mark a full set of assessments and still provide personalised feedback in a fraction of the time.</p>
<p>This mark scheme can be used for all translations into the Target Language, and will save a huge amount of time! With these, I can mark a set of translations in around 35 minutes.</p>

<p>This is a great way to save time marking, yet provide detailed feedback to the whole class.</p>
<p>Headings can be adapted, but they focus on the main aspects of improving pupils’ work, such as what they did well, how they can improve, along with grammar and spelling issues, along with praising those in the class that went above and beyond. This can be used in any subject.</p>
<p>we have built in regular assessment points into our schemes of work. At each of these 6 points during the year, they complete a listening, reading, translation and writing assessment. With the 3 year KS4, we have got the time to conduct these and we are noticing already the positive impact that this is having.</p>
<p>Each student is given an assessment folder in Y9 and this passport follows them through. It acts as one of our marking as per school policy but more importantly, allows teachers to track progress throughout the year and more importantly, across the KS4, which hen informs interventions etc…</p>
<p>This mark sheet is based on the GCSE specifications for translations from the target language into English. This can be used at all Key Stages, as it is pupil friendly. Specific pointers can be set out to ensure students develop their translation strategies as the course progress.</p>
<p>This guide can be used in conjunction with your own scheme of work, or adapted to suit. The grammar terms run from Jan - July, and are linked to the Viva 1 textbook.</p>
