This is a worksheet to accompany the film GOAL! The film is the story of a Mexican immigrant in LA who becomes a famous footballer for Newcastle. It is mostly told in English but has some parts in Spanish. This was created for lower ability groups to engage them more with the Spanish language and the Spanish speaking world. The worksheet allows students to practice the topics of family and home/local area. It also includes a section on giving opinions.

Here are four simple recipes that I have sourced from the internet for an extra curricular 'fiesta de tapas'. I have provided the list of ingredients in Spanish, and given the instructions in English. For higher ability students, you could also translate the recipes into Spanish. Enjoy!
